Windows 7 and Office 2010
All classroom, lab, and faculty computers will be upgraded to Windows 7 and Office 2010 for the start of the Fall, 2011 semester. This includes Project 2010 and Visio 2010 in the locations where those products are installed. Staff computers will be upgraded during the fall semester.
Professional development classes are being offered for those who want training or assistance for the upgrade; watch your inbox for notices from Niran Kheder.

Wireless Internet Access
Wireless access is available in Applied Sciences, Bradner Library, Forum, Liberal Arts, VisTaTech Center and the Waterman Wing, the BioTech Center, and some areas of the Radcliff Center. This service is available for notebook and laptop computers, and PDAs.
Wireless access is for the Internet only, not the Schoolcraft network. You can get involved by following the directions here.
Using the Schoolcraft Technology FAQs Site
This site contains general information and answers to commonly asked questions from around Schoolcraft College.
- Select the User Group tab at the top that applies to the information you're looking for.
- Information that applies to everyone will be under the Everyone tab.
- Information that applies only to faculty members will be under the Faculty tab, etc.
- After selecting the group, a list of Categories will appear on the left side.
- Information for part-time faculty members will be under:
- Faculty (Tab at top)
- Part-Time (Category at left)
- Use these Categories to navigate through the site.
Printing: Use the File > Print option at the top of your web browser window. This will print the content in the white section of each page. It will not print any of the menu information on the left side, or any colors.
Searching: Note the Search Box on the left side of the page that appears on all pages throughout the site. Please use this option if you cannot find the information you are looking for.
