Schoolcraft Technology FAQs

Our HELP Support staff are generally available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please consult our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) before requesting assistance. If you can’t find a solution to your problem there, you can call or send e-mail for technical support.

If you seek support via e-mail, please include your full name, Blackboard username, course name, and as many details as possible about your difficulty. Never send personal information such as birth date, passwords, or social security numbers through e-mail. Also for your protection, never share your Blackboard password with anyone…including support staff.

• Your “Username” is the first initial of your first name followed by your 7 digit student ID number.

If you haven’t already changed it:

• Your default “Password” is your date of birth in MMDDYY format.

For example, for Jamie Smith, student #0008642, born on July 20, 1986.

Username = j0008642

Password = 072086

Blackboard user accounts are available the first day of each semester. If you sign up for a class after the start of the semester, your account will be created the day after you register for class. If you register on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your account will be created the following Monday (except holidays).
